    Work with us

If you see yourself as part of our team, tell us about yourself and fill in the form below.

BTQ Events is a production-led event company that has worked in Portugal since 2022. We produce corporate events across the country, from conferences and product launches to gala dinners, retreats and incentive programmes, and we do it with a small team that stays close to every project. The people on that team carry more than ten years of event-production experience between them, and the team originally comes from Eastern Europe before making Portugal its base.

We take on a limited number of projects each year, so the work stays personal and the standard stays high. That is only possible with people who care about the detail and who can carry a piece of work from the first brief through to the final night. We welcome applications even when no role is openly advertised, because good people are rare and we would rather keep the conversation going than wait for a vacancy.

If you can picture yourself in this team, whether you produce events, manage projects, coordinate on site, look after clients or build the marketing, we would like to hear from you. Tell us who you are, share a link to your CV and let us know what you would bring. We read every application ourselves and we will be in touch when there is a fit.

    What we look for

    Ownership from brief to breakdown

We look for people who take responsibility for a whole piece of work and see it through, from the first planning call to the moment the last van leaves the venue. We value someone who owns the outcome rather than only the task.

    Calm under production pressure

Live events move quickly and things change on the day. We value people who stay composed when the schedule tightens, who solve problems quietly and who keep the guest experience steady whatever is happening behind the scenes.

    Languages and guest-facing polish

Our clients and guests come from across Europe and beyond. We look for people who communicate clearly, who carry themselves well in front of a room and who can work comfortably in more than one language.

    Open roles

    Event Manager

    Full-time · On-site around Cascais and Lisbon, Portugal · €1,000–2,200 per month

BTQ Events is looking for an Event Manager to join our production team in Portugal. You would take corporate and private events from brief to delivery, owning timelines, suppliers, budgets and on-site direction alongside the wider team. We produce conferences, gala dinners, product launches and private celebrations across Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, Porto, the Douro Valley and the Algarve, so the role suits someone who stays calm under production pressure and holds many moving parts at once.

The role involves owning event timelines and the run-of-show, coordinating venues and suppliers, managing budgets, and directing set-up and delivery on-site. We look for several years of event or production experience, strong organisation, fluent English, and comfort working directly with clients and suppliers. Portuguese, French or Russian are a plus. You would be based in or able to work on-site around Cascais and Lisbon.

    Frequently asked questions

We are based in Portugal and most production roles are on-site, because the work happens where the events happen. Some roles can become partly hybrid once you know the team and the way we work.

Openings sit across event production, project management, coordination, technical and audio-visual work, client and sales, and marketing. They come and go with the calendar, so we accept spontaneous applications at any time and keep them on file.

Yes. We work with freelancers on a project basis when a production needs extra hands, and we take on interns who want to learn how events are produced end to end. Let us know which one fits you in the form.

The team works in English and Portuguese day to day, and we also cover French and Russian across the group. If you speak more than one of these, please mention it in your message.
