Budgets & Costs
What things cost, and what moves the number.
Most event pricing online is a range with nothing behind it. This hub publishes the arithmetic instead: what a format costs in Portugal, which parts of the budget the guest actually sees, and which costs arrive after the first quote rather than inside it.
Every figure here comes from BTQ Events production data or from a named external source with a year attached. A number without provenance is not published, because a number you cannot check is a number you cannot take into a meeting.
The recurring finding across these posts is that venue hire and catering are the visible start of a budget rather than the bulk of it. On a €55,000 gala for 100 guests, light, sound and staging cost more than the room and the furniture together.
