    Venues & Regions

The production reality of a place, venue by venue.

A venue's own website describes the rooms. This hub describes what happens when a production team arrives at seven in the morning with three trucks: the access, the power, the noise limit, the load-in door that turns out to face a staircase.

The regions covered are the ones where BTQ Events produces: Lisbon and Cascais, Sintra, Porto and the Douro, the Alentejo, Comporta, the Algarve and Madeira. Each carries different travel costs, different supplier depth and different seasons.

What makes a place expensive is rarely the headline hire fee. It is distance from the hotels, the hours you are allowed on site, and whether the building can power a stage without a generator parked outside it.
