BrainRocket Family Day — A Beach Team Day on the Cascais Coast
Surf & Soul Saturday — a full-day beach festival for a tech team and their families.
BrainRocket again — the same client as the Lisbon HQ launch, in an entirely different register. Surf & Soul Saturday turned a Cascais beach into a multi-zone festival for the company's team and their families: surf lessons, a beauty corner, a food court, a kids' zone and a branded entrance arch.
Corporate team building is a structured programme of shared activity designed to strengthen how a team works together — usually away from the office, often outdoors. The format ranges from half-day challenges to full festivals; the production job is to make taking part feel effortless rather than mandatory.
Team building a family would actually enjoy.
Most corporate team days ask employees to give up a Saturday; this one asked them to bring the family. BTQ programmed a Cascais beach as a festival with parallel zones — surf coaching for the brave, a beauty corner and food court for everyone else, a kids' zone so parents could relax — and tied them together with a branded entrance arch and a signage system that made a wide beach legible. The arc ran from a morning welcome to an evening farewell without ever feeling scheduled.
- Branded entrance arch, surfboards and Panama-hat hospitality wall
- Surf lessons, beauty corner, kids' zone and food court
- Tropical floral installations and a directional signage system
- A live programme arc from morning to farewell, fully coordinated
BTQ produces team building and corporate offsites across Portugal, from Cascais beaches to Douro quintas — one team from concept to strike.
Team days — questions we hear
Corporate team building is a structured programme of shared activity designed to strengthen how a team works together — usually away from the office, often outdoors. Formats range from half-day challenges to full festivals. BrainRocket's Surf & Soul Saturday is one example: a Cascais beach turned into a multi-zone family festival.
Make participation feel optional, not mandatory. Run parallel zones so different people can opt into different things — surf coaching for the brave, a beauty corner and food court for everyone else, a kids' zone so parents can relax. Tie them together with clear signage and a single arrival point, and pace the day from a morning welcome to an evening farewell without a visible agenda.
BTQ produces team building, corporate retreats and offsites, and incentive programmes across Portugal — from Cascais beaches and Sintra estates to Douro quintas. Each runs through one production team from concept to strike.
