ADB Safegate — A Five-Day Corporate Conference in Lisbon
A Global Sales Meeting and the ADRIEN Awards, produced across a heritage Lisbon venue.
ADB Safegate, the Belgium-headquartered aviation-infrastructure company, brought its Global Sales Meeting and internal ADRIEN Awards to Lisbon. BTQ Events produced the full programme — 150 international guests, five days, one heritage Portuguese venue — from accommodation and transport to the closing-night gala.
Conference production is the end-to-end management of a corporate conference — venue, accommodation, transport, AV, branding and on-site coordination run by one team rather than booked piecemeal. For ADB Safegate, that meant a single producer owning a five-day arc from welcome dinner to awards gala.
Five days that had to read as one programme.
An internal sales meeting and an awards ceremony pull in different directions — one is working sessions, the other is celebration. ADB Safegate needed both inside a single Lisbon stay, with guests arriving from multiple countries and a heritage venue that could carry the gala without dressing it as a conference hall. BTQ ran the logistics underneath — rooms, transfers, AV, freight — so the surface read as hospitality, and the ADRIEN Awards landed as the emotional peak rather than an agenda item.
- Hotel sourcing, accommodation and group transport for 150 international guests
- Welcome dinner, ADRIEN Awards gala and closing night
- Branded environment — signage, trophies, photo wall, ice installation
- Live entertainment — acoustic duo, solo artists, full band
- Catering, beverage and on-site coordination, set-up to strike
BTQ produces corporate conferences and award galas across Portugal, anchored on Lisbon — one team from brief to post-event report.
Corporate conferences — questions we hear
Conference production is the end-to-end management of a corporate conference — venue, accommodation, transport, AV, branding, catering and on-site coordination run by one team rather than booked piecemeal. For ADB Safegate's Global Sales Meeting in Lisbon, a single producer owned the five-day arc from welcome dinner to the ADRIEN Awards gala.
Four to six months is the comfortable lead time for a full multi-day programme — it secures venues, accommodation blocks and key vendors before the spring and autumn corporate seasons tighten room inventory in Lisbon. Fast-track productions on a two-to-four-week window are possible, but they narrow the venue choice.
Alongside conferences, BTQ produces gala dinners, product launches, incentive programmes and corporate retreats across Portugal — Lisbon, Cascais, Porto, the Douro and beyond. Each runs through one production team from brief to post-event report.
