    Web Summit Dreamland was the official Dreamland after-party during Web Summit in Lisbon — the week Europe's largest technology conference takes over the city. The room had to compete with everything else happening that night: BTQ Events answered with a multi-sensory environment built around an iconic DeLorean, immersive green walls and lighting that turned a venue into an all-night world.

    A brand activation around a conference is a side event that runs inside someone else's programme — independent in production, but inside the host event's timing, accreditation and audience.     An after-party that had to win the night.

    Web Summit week turns Lisbon into a grid of competing parties, and a brand activation only works if delegates choose it over everything else after the talks end. BTQ gave Dreamland one image people would cross the city for — the DeLorean — and built the rest of the room to keep them there: green walls, layered lighting, and a flow that read as a destination rather than a sponsor booth. The production sat inside Web Summit's timing while owning its own envelope, start to strike.
